• We ask that our parents and students sit down and either commit to our schedule for next year or choose a different activity. We have wonderful students who are well-rounded and we love to see how multi-passionate they are. However, we ask that the parents and students commit to the classes and take attendance seriously. If you know you will have to leave 10-20 early from every class we ask that you do not sign up. If you know you will be absent more than 7 classes we ask that you do not sign up. Absences outside of a reasonable amount cause strain on the teachers and students who are consistently there. Tech weeks, showcases, and performances are mandatory, please check the dates before starting the fall semester. Please do not ask us for exceptions or notify us last minute of a conflict. If a student is gone for an extended period or excessively absent we will start to remove them from numbers if they are not there to learn them. We appreciate all our parents and students and look forward to a stellar year.
• We are imposing a new rule for Varsity Company students. Varsity cannot be involved in high school shows outside of Conservatory. They are more than welcome to participate in Palace Grand Hall shows or other community theatres if the schedule does not conflict. This is due to students being over-scheduled and missing large amounts of classes. The shows usually overlap tech weeks and those dates are now blacked out. Unfortunately, the other high schools and our practices overlap. We are looking forward to a less stressful semester with students who are present and eager to participate!
• New registration is available on Studio Director under the 25-26 Chubbuck location season.
We can't wait for another fantastic year! If you have any questions email Conservatory@palacetheatrearts.com or give us a call at 208-238-8001. We look forward to another great year!

The jungle is jumpin' with a jazzy beat in Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS. Specially adapted from the classic Disney animated film, Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS features a host of colorful characters and your favorite songs from the movie.
Banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, a human boy named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, are on the run in the deepest parts of the jungle. On their journey, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants and a giant bear named Baloo, who teaches them the swingin' musical rhythms of the jungle. After surviving a dangerous encounter with a band of monkeys led by King Louie, Mowgli and Bagheera are forced to run for their lives. When Shere Khan returns, our heroes must rally their fellow animals into battle and restore peace throughout the jungle.
Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS has a large, expandable ensemble and many strong, featured roles for good singers. Several roles, including Baloo and King Louie, are great for kids with strong comedic skills. The chorus can be expanded to include various animals, trees, plants, rocks and many other jungle inhabitants. Many numbers also involve the full chorus in easy unison singing, making it a great first pick.
Sr. Company : 6th, 7th, 8th Grade

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
Seussical JR. provides wonderful creative opportunities in terms of set design, lighting and costuming and can easily accommodate a large cast of expandable “Seussian” creatures.
Varsity Company : 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th Grade

Her past is a mystery. Her future is an adventure.
Anastasia: The Musical is the spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be. This 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway hit is specially tailored for young actors.
From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once On This Island, this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.
